When and why one should seek psychological support?
Experiencing any manner of psychological disorder can prove a barrier to leading a fulfilling life as well an impediment to achieving personal satisfaction.
Each and every one of us has the resources and the tools to attend to the challenging situations and everyday obstacles that we find in our lives. However, these very tools often go unrecognized or can be difficult to put to one’s own purpose.
Psychotherapy can help one to realise one’s full potential, as well as giving an understanding of one’s own limits. In following tailored psychotherapy, one can alleviate the various symptoms of suffering with the aim of both deepening personal understanding and reinforcing self esteem.
The primary objective of Gestalt psychotherapy with an existential-phenomenological orientation is to work towards a state of physical and mental well-being. From this we can both grow and find ourselves, while at the same time dealing with the problems that affect our personal psyches.
